There are many ways you can support survivors and make an immediate impact.

Important to know.

While we wish we could take everything, our limited storage space means we have to say "no thank you" to certain items.  We are currently unable to accept: Furniture, Appliances, Used clothing, Used bedding and towels, Used baby items, Toys, Food or perishable items.

If you have items like these to give, we would love to connect you with some wonderful local partners.  Please scroll to our Local Partners section below for contact information.

Monetary Giving

SAFE 365

Make it monthly!  Small gifts add up to big changes over time.  When you become a monthly donor, you become a lifeline for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Your ongoing support ensures that critical services like emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and prevention education are available 24/7, 365 days a year.

Monthly Giving

Giving Online

Safe, secure, and fast.  Donating online is the easiest way to make a difference.  With just a few clicks, your gift goes to work immediately where it is needed the most.

Gift Cards

Gas and grocery gift cards are among the most critical tools we use to support client success. They provide immediate, practical relief. Whether it’s keeping the gas tank full to get to work or purchasing fresh groceries for the week, these cards fill immediate gaps that traditional supplies can't. Kroger and Walmart cards in $25-$50 increments are preferred.

Gifts by Mail

Urgent & Constant Needs

To keep our programs running smoothly, we rely on two types of support: Constant Needs and Urgent Needs.

Our Constant Needs are the everyday essentials that form the backbone of our daily operations, the items we use constantly and always need to restock. Our Urgent Needs are real-time, critical shortages that arise unexpectedly due to seasonal changes or a sudden influx of families in crisis.

Constant Needs:  paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent pods

Community Rewards

Did you know you can support our mission every time you shop for groceries, at absolutely no extra cost to you? Through grocery reward programs, a percentage of your everyday purchase is automatically donated directly to us.

How to link your card:

Log into your grocery store account online or via their app (e.g., Kroger, Dorothy Lane, etc.).
Navigate to the Community Rewards section in your account settings.
Search for SAFE on Main or enter our organization number: #here for each
Click "Enroll" or "Save"—and you're done!

Our Partners

Just because we don't have the space for certain items doesn't mean they can't do a world of good!

In fact, we work closely with some wonderful community partners that supply our clients with furniture, appliances, clothing and more.

By donating items to the agencies listed, you are directly supporting the families we serve.

Tabitha's Closet - new and used clothing for men, women and children

New Life Furniture -  new and gently used furniture and appliances

Thank you for helping us support the entire community network that keeps our clients moving forward.

Estate

You may also consider making a gift of appreciated assets. SAFE on Main has an established Raymond James account that allows donors to transfer appreciated stock or mutual funds directly to the agency.

For assets held longer than one year, donors may be able to avoid taxable capital gains while receiving a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the donated assets.

Please consult your financial or tax advisor regarding your specific situation.

Workplace

Did you know your company might match your donation? Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees dollar-for-dollar.  Ask your HR department or corporate social responsibility team today if your company participates in matching gifts, payroll deductions, or volunteer grant programs!
